Many thanks go to Gladys Piper who has spent many hours gathering information on the Alsace Church and School. She was nice enough to lend me her collection so I could scan it and add it to my growing collection of history on the Alsace area. My great grandparents arrived in the area in the 1870's, that is why I am fascinated with the history of the area.
Gladys Piper and Viola Rowan have a history room set up at the Alsace Church. It is usually open May 24'th weekend until Thanksgiving on Sundays after Mass or by special arrangement. They have quite a collection of family history, photographs and some artifacts. One new addition for this year is Annie Spetz's cane!
